PPC Group was also involved in a Design & Build project of a helicopter hanger, including infrastructure works, for the Royal Malaysia Navy or Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia in Lumut, Perak. Another specialised project is the multi temperature cold room and distribution centre at the Wholesale Market in Selayang, Selangor. The scope of works comprised of earthworks, substructure, superstructure and civil works. We used the latest construction techniques based on steel structures, completing it well before schedule.

The Terengganu Hydroelectric Saddle Dams is another memorable project in our portfolio. Covering 7 saddle dams and an amazing 3 million cubic metres of earth fill volume, the project is a clear illustration of our engineering skills.

The North-South Expressway is another success story not only for PPC but for all Malaysians. The pride of the nation, it ranks among the largest public works project in the history of Peninsular Malaysia. It was completed ahead of the original schedule and has demonstrated ahead of the original schedule and has demonstrated the ability of everyone involved to fulfil the Government’s vision. PPC is proud to be one of the companies involved in the construction and completion of the North-South Interurban Toll Expressway for PLUS Berhad.
PPC was involved in the following sections: Package 9B of the North-South Expressway stretching from Sungkai to Slim River for a total contract sum of RM140 million which was completed head of schedule. It involved construction of an 18km dual carriage expressway comprising site clearing, earthworks, drainage, bridges, vehicular box culverts, concrete pavements, road markings and street furniture.

Package 9C stretching from Slim River to Tanjung Malim for a contract sum of RM191 million, shared the same success story. The job involves the construction of a 27km dual carriageway expressway which includes site clearing, earthworks, drainage, bridges, vehicular box culverts, concrete pavements, road markings and street furniture.
